A foundry in Sambalpur, making cast iron products for infrastructure since 1961.
History
Utkal Foundry & Engineering Company Private Limited was incorporated in 1959. It was promoted by the late Benudhar Jena, and production began in 1961.
The works are in Sambalpur, then far from the established foundry markets of Rourkela and Kolkata. Consistent quality has kept the company supplying infrastructure projects across Odisha and India since.
What we do
We manufacture ferrous and non-ferrous products: cast iron pipes, fittings, valves and other castings. Our products are in regular use in works of government and semi-government bodies and large private corporations, among them Municipal Corporations, Railways, Port Trusts and Hindalco.

Quality
Products are checked at several stages of production. We continue to develop our products and processes to keep a balance of quality and cost for our customers.
